Deltek recently hosted its annual conference, Insight 2019, with 3,500 accounting, executive, IT, marketing, and HR professionals in attendance. The conference, held in Orlando from November 18-21, included 4 days packed with education, inspiration, and networking.
This year, Brandy Timm, Associate with SGA Design Group, was selected as a break-out session speaker.
“In my session, ‘Solve your Project Tracking Issues,’ I presented SGA’s solution to increase project tracking and performance visibility with my Co-Presenter, Darrell Aaron, from Central Consulting Group,” explained Brandy Timm. “During the presentation, I talked about the specific needs we had that led to developing a new management tool that would work with our unique processes and current configuration. We needed a management tool for an influx of small, fast-moving projects that allowed for increased visibility into real-time metrics, and a predictive tool for early identification of potential performance failure. We showed the tool and talked about how it works, how it’s used, and plans for future development. Darrell talked about the technical aspects and skills required to create customized tools, programming tips, and what else is possible through customization to make Deltek work better for firms and how they work.”
Overall the conference was well organized, engaging, and informative with phenomenal guest speakers including John O’Leary and Sarah Robb O’Hagan. The conference focused on Vantagepoint, the next evolution of Deltek Vision with improved dashboards, easier navigation, and enhanced visuals. Deltek has created multiple resources for customers looking at upgrading to Vantagepoint. We look forward to exploring Deltek Vantagepoint and attending the annual conference next year.
