SGA Project Recognized With Associated Builders and Contractors of Oklahoma Excellence in Construction Award

We’re proud to announce our national architecture firm has been recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Oklahoma Excellence in Construction Awards program for our role, in partnership with Flintco, for the design & construction of the new Rogers County Sheriff’s Office. This recognition is an honor as we grow more and more involved in a wider variety of sectors.

“Our team was very fortunate to have worked on this project for Rogers County,” said SGA Design Group Principal Doug Tayrien. “This historic 1935 Federal Post Office was in very poor shape, but Rogers County had the vision and desire to save it and revive it into a new LEED Certified Sheriff’s Office. The design goal was to capture the feel of 1930’s building style while moving the office into the 21st century. We are very proud of the project, and the Sheriff’s Office is very pleased with the results.”

The ABC of Oklahoma Excellence in Construction Awards was created with the intention to raise standards when it comes to building construction by spotlighting outstanding achievements. Every year, the association recognizes extraordinary projects brought to fruition by its members. With the goal to create regional interest in construction of extraordinary quality, the program spotlights the achievements of members from contractor to owner, architect to engineer.
